The capital of Malaysia becomes our rank no 1 in this article for the most warm and high temperatures location in Malaysia. This urban and modern city often experiences high temperatures beacause of the urban heat island effect. Daily temperatures can range from 28°C to 34°C.

Petaling Jaya

The second location will be at Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Selangor is one of the 14 states in Malaysia that close to Kuala Lumpur. Selangor and Kuala Lumpur shares the land border together. In fact, Kuala Lumpur itself is located in Selangor back then ago before the Sultan of Selangor hand over Kuala Lumpur to the Federal Government to be declare as Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur or locally preferred as “Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur”.

Petaling Jaya shares a similar climate, with hot and humid conditions year-round.

Malacca

The another state in Malaysia, Malacca becomes the third in the list for Warmest Locations in Malaysia. This historical city on the west coast experiences warm temperatures, typically ranging from 28°C to 33°C.

For those who want to travel Singapore at the same, you may travel to Singapore by shuttle bus from JB to Singapore. If we are not mistaken, the shuttle bus services from JB to Singapore operates on daily basis. The price also affordable for everyone.

George Town, Penang

Penang is among the best places to visit in Malaysia. Located in the northern part of peninsular Malaysia, this coastal city also experiences warm and humid conditions, with temperatures frequently reaching around 32°C. Penang famous for their foods especially Nasi Kandar and Char Kuew Teow. You considered never visit in Penang unless you try these two menus.

Alor Setar, Kedah

Located in the northern part of peninsular Malaysia, Alor Setar has a warm climate, with temperatures often exceeding 33°C. During Kongsi Lah! visit to Alor Setar, Kedah in March 2024 ago, we never feel the rain for almost 3 days in Kedah. Although it is hot, we enjoyed the cheap and delicious foods in Kedah, Malaysia.

For us Kedah is different among the states we visited in 2024. It is not a modern or urban states but we feel the serenities, calm and tranquilities that we never found in other states in Malaysia. The paddy fields were almost the huge among the states in Malaysia thus make this state of Kedah famous for their paddy fields and national rice productions.

Kangar, Perlis

Kangar is the capital of Perlis. Located in the northern part of peninsular Malaysia it is among the warmest location in Malaysia we visited in March 2024.

Since Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia not much interesting places we discover due to hot temperatures but same like Kedah, we enjoy the cheap and delicious foods and experience the traditional village lifestyle in Kangar Perlis.

In fact, peoples of Perlis might be the most polite and friendly compared to other states in Malaysia. Not to deny other peoples in KL, Selangor, Penang and so on but we experience the different hospitality provided by them during our vacation in Northern Malaysia including Penang, Kedah and Perlis.

In conclusion, we can conclude that the warmest locations in Malaysia is within the North Region. The Northern region consist of Penang, Kedah and Perlis. We found these 3 states among the hot and warmest weather we experienced in Malaysia. Hence do not forget to bring along mineral/drinking water with you to avoid dehydration.
